About Us

 

I want what you want for your son or daughter, success at their highest possible level.  For the past 32 years, I have been a teacher, youth minister, and athletic coach motivating students to surpass their definition of success.  I am currently teaching Calculus at Cox High School.  For the past sixteen years, I have seen students break through a barrier that has kept them from their choice of a college and scholarship money: THE SAT. 

 

24hundred (formerly TEAMS, Inc.) was created to help students raise their SAT/PSAT scores to the maximum.  We have raised poor scores to good ones, good scores to great ones and great ones have gone off the charts.  The process is not mystical; we simply raise the potential that students block because of their fear of failure, ignorance of the test format, poor time management, lack of practice on actual tests, and poor test taking skills.

 

Starting at Cox High School, we have taught students from all over Tidewater.  We have been employed by the Norfolk and Newport News Public School Systems, FIT TV, Tidewater Scholarship (ACCESS) Program, Norfolk Collegiate, Catholic, Friends School, Pasquotank High School in North Carolina, Broadwater Academy and by the Adidas Elite Soccer Program's national high school soccer camp. 

 

Our four primary teachers are all distinguished in their fields. We have three Teachers of the Year form Cox and Tallwood High School and one Nationally Board Certified Teacher.  We look forward to the opportunity to help your child reach their goal.
